Fr Richard Behan, P.P. , Deacon Noel Ryan, Deacon Gabriel Corcoran and a number of invited priests including former priests of the parish concelebrated the Mass.

There was a presentation of Groups of the parish & their symbols at the beginning of the Mass. This Mass was a presentation of the 40 years of faith lived in this community and expressed in song and dance and words.

The Gopspel Choir, The Ballinteer Male Voice Choir, The Children's Choir and the Marley & ballinteer Choir sang during the Mass.

Ballinteer Parish

The Church was solemly blessed and opened by Most Reverend Dermot Ryan, Archbishop of Dublin, on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception (8th December) 1973.

There are over 3,500 homes in the parish and we are fortunate in that we have an excellent community spirit.

Ballinteer Parish is part of the Pastoral Area of Dundrum, Ballinteer, Meadowbrook. Fr Richard Behan is Moderator of all three Parishes.
